The growing minimalist movement offers everyone an opportunity to live and full and meaningful life with less. It’s about removing the things in your life that no longer serve you (i.e. clutter, ‘stuff’ or unwanted distractions), enabling a focus on the things that really matter to you.
Sometimes called ‘intentional living’ or ‘simple living’, modern-day minimalism isn’t necessarily about white, empty spaces (although it can be, if that’s for you). Rather, it’s about emphasising the positive aspects of a life without the trappings of consumerism.
My name’s Catherine and I live with my family (husband, teenager and dog) in the heart of England.
Based in the Midlands, the perspectives on this blog are also from ‘mid life’ as I find myself in the ‘midlands’ of my life, as well as being geographically central!
Hence Midlands Minimalist.
