The minimalist movement offers everyone an opportunity to live and full and meaningful life with less. Its focus is on removing the things in your life that no longer serve you such as clutter or unwanted distractions, enabling a focus on the things that really matter.
Sometimes called ‘intentional living’ or ‘simple living’, modern-day minimalism isn’t necessarily about white, empty spaces (although it can be if that’s for you). Rather, it’s about emphasizing the positive aspects of a life without the trappings of consumerism.
I’m Catherine. I live in the heart of England with my husband, teenager and dog. Based in the Midlands, the perspectives on this blog are also from mid life, as I find myself in the ‘midlands’ of my life, as well as being geographically central. Hence Midlands Minimalist.
